John Galliano's inspiration for the visual look, for this poison installment was the fairytale of Cinderella, brought to life by the French actress Eva Green. The mystery starts when the clock strikes 12, and she disappears in the haze. The colors of the midnight, cobalt and ultramarine blue, shimmer and adorn her with a Gothic grace. I think that my darling Galliano, reproduced the "introduction of Satine" in the musical "Moulin Rouge" and made it his own.
The new Dior's poison is opening with citrus notes of mandarin and bergamot to the rose heart, and patchouli, amber and French vanilla in the base. The creators of Midnight Poison are Jacques Cavallier and Oliver Cresp of Firmenich in collaboration with Francois Demachy of LVMH.
