Deborah Kerr and Robert Taylor in Quo Vadis

British actress Deborah Kerr passed away on, October 16th, at the age of 86, after suffering from Parkinson's for several years. We at "fetch!" want to pay a tribute to this great screen legend because she has been with us on the silver screen, providing that innocent charm when ever we turned to the "movies of old" to be comforted ... each of us here at "fetch!" have a favourite Deborah Kerr movie and we believe that she is; not "was" she "is", truly the only face of "classic" movies, and what a face it is!

"I came over here to act, but it turned out all I had to do was to be high-minded, long suffering, white-gloved and decorative".

"I am really rather like a beautiful Jersey cow, I have the same pathetic droop to the corners of my eyes."

"For Karen Holmes (in From Here to Eternity), I studied voice for three months to get rid of my English accent. I changed my hair to blonde. I knew I could be sexy if I had to."
