VuDu

Here's that rare thing in the movie biz: a sequel that gets it right. Last year’s Vudu was a breakthrough both for what it did (stream digital movies to your TV, minus the buffering) and for how it looked doing it. The XL keeps the clean design and adds IR universal-remote capability, making it a cinch to sync with your home-theater system. More importantly, it comes with a whopping terabyte of storage, for storing the HD films the company will being offering this February. The initial batch will have 70—yes, including Blade:Trinity.
Available in February, $999, vudu.com
