Valentino -fall crt 2007

Valentino celebrated his 45th year of making women, goddesses, with his designer peers and I am sure they turned green as Valentino sent out vamped up models wearing the most luxurious clothes of the couture season, each piece exuding luxury and opulence, the fabrics came alive and the colors embedded their richness into its admirers, the sparkle tingled and lured many. The signature red gown made an appearance but Valentino did not end his show with his reds, but instead opted to let gowns of white and baby pinks rule the ramp, each encrusted with the most dazzling crystals and sequins some even accentuated with wispy pink feathers and ruffles. The cape made a comeback and a few pieces boldly showcased the humor of Valentino with wildly colored stones and exaggerated ruches.
