from Rome...

hi guys its us ( sean, ady, evey and george )
its unbelievable what Europe has in store for us , we started from Frankfurt, then moved on to Vienna and now we are in Rome this will be our last day here and then we will be going to Venice on a 5pm train ooooo exciting our biggest regret was not being able to go to Florence first of all its far and with a tight schedule we could not fit it in as we are going to Venice and then Paris and secondly its so expensive, so we had to drop that, although I am devastated that we HAD to make this decision. Ady is still strutting around with a long face as she was unable to see David's well... and I really wanted to see the Birth of Venus ( sandro botticelli) wahhhh. ok so now we have collectively decided not to focus on the negative and not let me move on to Rome ; it was awesome, the Vatican Museum was by far the best off course I know this statement is going to change as soon as I enter the louvre! the Vatican was just well so ... it commanded so much respect and one feels so insignificant surrounded by faith, art, and an overwhelming sense of pride in the human race for erecting such a monument and pride for everything good in this world we, being Catholics experienced an almost renewal of faith at the sight of St. Peters tomb ( cold shivers up the spine ) even if one is not a Catholic one can surely appreciate the architecture, the art, and the history that is, the vatican. We later strolled along narrow, colourful pathways to reach the Fontana Di trevi and tossed a coin in to the blue depths of the fountain in hopes of returning to Rome, this was followed by extensive Gelato eating ( a low fat ice-cream with immense flavor) and tons of bargain, fake louis vuitton pocketbook shopping which the girls delighted in. George and me managed to get a pair of leather Loafers from this small but elegant store , to make ady happy as she was sulking ever since she heard that we were not going to see David we got her a mini statue close to the real thing and one she can actually take home. Evey and ady found joy gazing at the swiss guards, the police, and the general descendants of roman gods that walked passed them , not to mention a few priest! Am sure they desperately needed a confessional after those impure thought that ran through their heads. I will give a detailed description of our Europe Visit including pictures, so stay tuned for out Fetch! guide to Europe!
