Emporio Armani - Spring 2008

“Italian sportswear galore with a twist” could be the words that best describe Emporio Armani - Spring 2008 line, and the “twist” was seen in many of the off beat pieces shedding conventional style for something a bit more daring, like the trousers that hugged the calves with buttons running along, accentuating the curves of the sinews , a certain amount of sensuousness was seen in all of the delectable pieces; some lush, full sleeves exposed the sculpted shoulders of bronzed models, the deconstructed shirts and the slouchy trousers created a sense of movement and feel as the soft fabrics rustled over the model’s skin – on the whole Armani showcased a line that would spark a certain fire with textures and sensuous cuts that enclose the majesty of the male body and emerging from it all one easily sensed the juxtaposition of ‘sex’ in the cuts and ‘innocence’ seen in the choice of colors for spring 2008.
