Zac Posen – Fall 2007

Zac Posen’s collection showcased the little black dress (LBD) at its epitome, they were well fitted, some nipped at the waist, others draping down in ruffles and billowing as the models graced the runway. Posen chose black mainly but, introduced rich plums, deep purples, antique greens and nude corals as his fall palette. His jackets and evening gowns at the end, stole the show, with the jackets being trimmed with fur and the cape making a comeback. Posen’s cut allowed the clothes to embrace the hour-glass figure and generally the clothes were structured and exact complimenting slimmer silhouettes.
